CAC organizers stated the games will continue with out soccer. What a shame! However there is a mad scramble to have all the teams fly to Venezuela and stage the soccer event there.
The president of Venezuela, Chavez, got involved and is pushing for this to happen. This has to be approved by the CAC comittee and apparently FIFA has to ok the fields.
The playing fields may not be an issue since Venezeula recently hosted the 2007 Copa America.

This site is about CONCACAF soccer with an American view. Concentration on the tournaments like the Gold Cup, World Cup qualification, U-20, U-18 and Olympic qualifications. Also a look at the New Nations League and Champions League and a little MLS as it competes in international tournaments.
